Our Story
From business messaging to a technology ecosystem.
CakraFlash was founded on 18 November 2016 in South Jakarta by Wahju Alianto Tedjo Sukmono and Muhamad Rifai, as PT Cakra Alpha Spektrum. The company’s first speciality was A2P messaging for businesses and public institutions.
CakraFlash served international markets from the start, became an official partner of Indosat in 2017, entered the Indonesian market in 2019, and learned what it takes to run communication technology that organizations depend on every day.
That experience became the foundation for something larger: a family of specialized platforms, each with its own identity, connected by a shared commitment to reliable and accessible technology.

2016
The beginning
PT Cakra Alpha Spektrum is founded on 18 November 2016 in South Jakarta, specializing in A2P messaging for international markets. AirMobile starts the same year.

Indosat partner
Appointed an official partner of Indosat, from November 2017 to November 2019.

A first office
After working from home and on the road, the team moves into a rented office in early 2018.

The home market
After serving international markets from the start, CakraFlash enters the Indonesian domestic market.
